Recorded in late 1959 with the Radio-Symphonie-Orchester Berlin and the Chor der St. Hedwigs-Kathedrale, Fricsay’s dramatic interpretation brings exceptional depth and choral majesty. Featuring soprano Maria Stader delivering a legendary performance of the virtuoso Et Incarnatus Est.
